the best analogy is i just got impaled by a blunt steel rod (not fishing) and having an untrained person yanking it out and i bleed to death (the baby shower).

hahahha...i'll go.  i'll put on my happy face.  i'll be nice to the pregnant lady. 

and i am bringing one fishing rod. party is next to a pretty good pond.  they stock with tiny trout, so the bass get HUGE.

oh.  my response:  "okay, i can't wait!..mind if i fish Sunday?"

just doing my due diligence with respect to marriage maintenance. :D
