today, I was glad I was born and raised in the desert.

yesterday.  well, had plans for Saturday which was our hottest day.  I planned on lots of water.  iced down water, and lots of fruit on the kayak.  my wife had other plans.  she forgot to tell me she invited a house guest.  for her birthday, so I got involved.  we did a dinner and a nice day trip doing touristy things with a boogey breakfast.  at breakfast, my wife whispers to me, "thanks for coming along and making this a nice outing for Lisa.  I whisper back, "I'm going fishing tomorrow.".  hahahha..

well, my water bladder sat in the truck and got janky.  it was plasticky tasting and drinking it was....ewwwwww!  so needlesstosay, I could have drank more.  I didnt die.  I had ice water in the truck and I guzzled that at the end of day, and sipped a liter of icey coconut water.  I feel pretty good!!  I didnt pee much. 

I'll do better next time.  not all lazy.

I did crush lots of bass, with some good ones in the mix!  hehe.

I hear ya on the plastic water... I've lived the majority of my life in California (Valley) or out here in Louisiana, both are very hot for different reasons. Fluid is key...

Does the coconut water offer anything extra?

coconut water seems to hydrate me better.  and it is delicious.
