It’s been a minute since I had a great jig bite today!

I'm just not that proficient with jigs. But today was magic. A finesse jig by Keitech was hampered.  Violently.

I think a jig bite is so special.  I feel li,Eva pro.  Haha.

Bigger fish were in the grass and I'd occasionally get one on a worm.  I elected to stay with the more aggressive smaller fish today.   I had only one jig left. Green pumpkin, 3/8 oz.  It was perfect. I have a 1/2, but it just fished too heavy.   Too heavy for my rod.  I did have a heavier bottom contact rod, but just didn't want to retire in the gale force winds.
