Jaguar cichlid? Those things are mean as they come and pretty too. Sometimes lessons learned the hard way are the ones that stick the best. Bet that cat won't do it again.

Greetings to everyone,

Another wet day here in Central Texas  ~rain   We had a big thunderstorm move across the area early this morning.  The thunder was loud and lighting bright.  There was some hail mixed in with the heavy rain again.  Our forecasted temps for today are 71-84dgrs with 95%humidity with a SW wind @ 5mphs.  There's rain in the forecast for this afternoon again  :surrender:

Drove across Belton Lake yesterday and the lake looks great being over filled now.  Water lightly stained; 77 degrees; 17.23 feet above pool. All public boat ramps are currently shut down due to flooding. Stillhouse Lake Water stained; 78 degrees; 15.52 feet above pool. All public boat ramps are currently shut down due to flooding.   We go from One EXTREME to Another one day we're bone dry or close to it and the next week were got water everywhere  >:(

Had my quarterly follow up with my Kidney Doctor yesterday.   He provided me with some good news that things are improving.  He did tell me that my health will never be what it was a couple years ago though.  I told him I understood and we're making good progress with his plan of getting me well.    He cut back on a couple of the med's I'm taking now.  Life continues to move forward.

:toot: My grandkids are Airborne and enroute to Texas from Anchorage, Alaska.  We're heading to Austin later on this afternoon to pick them up.  They'll be here for a couple weeks  ~c~   We're all excited to have them visiting.  Needless to say Grandma has a full schedule to keep them busy.  We're going horse back riding here on the 5th of Jun for a couple hours.  We're going to be putting some miles on the vehicles traveling around for sure  ;)

Joe; Tks for stopping by and yep the Year is almost half over with.  Hope your able to get the Cat out and run her this weekend.

Top; Wow, bet your cat doesn't do that again.  How's the boat flooring project coming along?

SHC; You getting the feel for understanding your electronics yet?  Hope your able to hit the water soon.

Bud; I hear ya about this weather.  We've gotten a lot of heavy thunderstorms with damaging hail here lately.  It's been really humid here after these weather fronts move through also.  I'm not one to be outside dealing with the humidity.  Hope your trip to the 'Lanes' is a good one for ya.

To everyone y'all have a peaceful, relaxing day today.  Be safe in your travels if you have to be out and about.

June thread ain't up yet! ;D

Don, the weather has "cleared" and I'm unprepared! Heavy cloud cover but only 50% chance of rain for a short period of time around 6 this evening.

I'm about to run to town to get oil change stuff for my truck and the youngest son's car.
