Good luck. Almost was going to see if I could ride with some one but wife had other plans.

It was great seeing everyone today!! Big G made a special guest appearance at the lunch break.
From what I heard, plenty of fish were caught, despite the weather!
Thank you to everyone who attended. Let's see if we can have another event before the year ends.

I will provide a mini report over here and then post my full report in the reports section.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Chris, aka FLStorm. We had a great time. We were fortunate to have boated 36 largemouth.

No monsters on this go around, but we had plenty of nice rod benders.

Chris, it was a pleasure having you on the boat today. I'm looking forward to future trips.

First, thanks @Capt. BassinLou Lou for putting all this together. It was great seeing you again brother!
Big thanks to @Esteban for taking me out on his boat and putting me on some fish!
It was a pleasure meeting some new peeps, well new to me, and Big G I'm happy that you went out there for a surprise visit! It was great seeing you again my friend.

Also, @FlatsNBay ...you were right. lol.

Esteban started the morning out with a top water prop lure and was instantly getting activity. He did really good.
I started with a popper but switched away from it quickly after a couple of wild casts. Look, it was windy, and I was rusty OK? Alright well lets be honest, my casting has never been pin point accurate. So par for the course.
Because the lure was on my mono line I didn't want to keep having Esteban help me fetch the lures from the tree fish. So I put it away like a good back seater, and I switched to a swimbait. That didn't last too long, the bass and peacock showed interest in it, chased it, even bumped it but they didn't want to put it in their mouths.
Since Esteban continued to get topwater action on his prop bait, I pulled out the trusty ol frog. Channeled my inner Lou and went to work.
Except I knew the frog was going to be a limited time only lure, since it absolutely destroys my back.
The nice thing was that it worked almost instantly and in a big way. Hooked up with a 5.2lb Bass that put on a good fight and had my frog/light punching rod working hard.

After a good celebration, some pics and a video that Esteban took, I went back at it. Shortly after I boated another good one that had Esteban going for the net. Didn't weigh it but I'd say somewhere around 4lbs.
Continued with the frog for a bit longer but the back was telling me to stop.

Esteban was having luck switching back and forth between the prop bait, and a fluke. Catching bass and peas.
I gave the U-Vibe a try and caught a few bass, some cichlids, and a peacock on it. But they were getting tore up by the cichlids. I switched over to the fluke and caught some more of the same. I ended up with somewhere around 10 bass, 3 peas, and 4-5 mayans, a blue gill and a some other sunfish. No Oscar thankfully.

Esteban had a great day ended with about double the fish that I boated. He actually caught quite a few more peas than I did, and less cichlids.

The wind got crazy around 10:30ish and had us running to another section of canal which we got rained out of, and so we went back to where we started. Unfortunately the wind was way to strong. We finished up around 11:45 and headed back to the ramp where we met up for lunch and chat.

...to be continued with more pics.
