Fished first light to 11:00am. I forgot my cooler, caught fish and did not a buzz. The current was ripping as the Army Corp Engineers/SFWMD were doing put and take with the water. It has since slowed it they are only letting it out as I type 1000cfs in and 1900cfs out. the level is under 12 feet. It is time to go get'em.

I stopped at Stubb canal and fished the entrance fish were active as the water was going in. got a half a dozen and the airboats were warming up. Shot up the canal about a mile and drifted back .5 miles and came back to Stubbs canal. Ended the day with 14 or 15 and couple at 3 lbs.

The water is dropping fast, stay in the middle, this week should be great{(famous last words).

Water is definitely flowing throughout the area. Appreciate the report. It's been a while.
