Good morning UB,

I'm in the process of building my floor and deck of my 1670 Polarkraft Dakota. I've decided to relocate the battery, battery switch and onboard charger to underneath the front (furure) deck. I have a 2022 Suzuki 25hp DF25A w/battery charging kit (stator style). My question is, can I get the same gauge wire and run all the way to the front and should I add a fuse or circuit breaker to that circuit?

Thanks as always for the input.

I run a fuse between my charger and each battery. I'm not sure what the "correct" answer is though, that's just what I do.

Talked to the dealer that I got my Suzuki from. They said the stator only puts out 14A Max. But they would recommend adding a small circuit breaker or fuse for 15A.
