Tried to duplicate Backlash's successful outing but didn't pan out. Got on flats at daylight and caught 2 fish on first few casts. Thought "Oh yeah", not so! Those were on swim baits and hits died off as well as my trolling motor battery! Wind became unbearable and outboard motored my way around a bit with buddy casting here and there. Picked up 5 more on jerk bait and spook. Wind got the best of us so home we went. Got home and garage door keypad battery dead and pc mouse battery also. Changed all 3 and hope bad luck only runs in 3's! Back out after wind dies down.
Safe fishing,
Jim

Dang, you hit a big-time challenge with all your batteries. At least you got on a few. Thanks for the report.

Change of weather can definitely change things up. I'm sorry to hear about the battery issue, Jim.
Appreciate the report!
