Everglades (6/15/23) Holey lands

Fished the Holey lands today. I needed to shoot a couple of videos, and based on my alley experience earlier this week, Holey Lands was up next.

Made it to the ramp before sunrise. I launched, put the trolling down, and started fishing right away.

Water is high here, too, but at least this time around, the docks weren't under water.

There were zero signs of life again for the first hour. At around 730 or so, I caught my first bass. It was a dink, but  it was better than nothing.

Caught another bass a little later on. Shortly after, the biggest bass of the outing crushed my popping lure.





I picked off little bass here and there as the morning progressed.

Fortunately, I had enough content to shoot the videos, and I called the trip around noon.  Did I fail to mention it was HOT!!  Man, it was humid. All in all, the outing was ok. Landed about 7 bass.

Thank you George. I was the only truck at the ramp the whole outing. It was great! Other than the heat,      it was nice being out there.
