Nolan Lake Ft. Cavazos (Ft. Hood, TX) 17 May 23 UPDATE

Good evening to everyone,

We've had lots of rain here in Central Texas these past couple months.  The big lakes in the area are still well below Summer Pool. They are still dangerous to be on if your not careful.  I was out and about today so I stopped by Nolan Lake over on Ft. Cavazos (Formerly known as Ft. Hood).  I'm happy to report with all the rain Nolan Lake is now at Summer Pool or real close to it.  Below are some Jan 23 photos and today's 17 May 23 photos.

Once the ground dries out I'll be down there launching the G3    The ground is still pretty wet and it would be real easy to get stuck.   I really wish they construct a small boat ramp there to help with the backing and pulling the boat out of the water.
