Launched about 0630 this morning from the CL State Park ramp. The water temp was  69°, water visibility was 3-4' except. AEP lowered the lake by 5' in preparation of rain from Ian. It sure made launching a a challenge and loading up with 20-25mph winds was an even bigger challenge for both me and one Kayak angler. We stuck around for each other in case either of us needed help, but ultimately, we both got loaded up on our own. I managed to put a few fish in the boat with a Dobyns Kayden 713 and White Chartreuse NuTech SpinJig. Increasing winds/whitecaps encouraged me to pack up and before noon.

Thanks for the report. Glad you caught a few...

So overall are you loving the Kaden or wish is was another series?

The Kaden 713 is by far one of my favorite Spinnerbait rods and IMHO, the Kadens are the best value of all the Dobyns rods series.

My rod locker is an assortment of Dobyns series from Savvys, Sierras, Kadens, Champions and even an Xtasy. Overall, I think my favorite series is the Champion XP series. I'm a split handle fan.
