Nolan Lake Ft. Hood Texas....Low Water 22 Jan 23

Good afternoon to everyone,

While out running errands I stopped by Nolan Lake over on Ft. Hood.  We've not had any measurable rain / lake rising water in a long time.  The picture below is at the dam on the lake.  The lake is really low there is usually about 4ft of water covering that road there.

WOW, it's crazy that just a couple hours drive to the west and lakes are low. We've had plenty of water here, wish we could share somehow.

It is sad seeing this.  The only areas you'd be able to fish on Nolan now would be the main creek channel.

Should make the catching a little easier if you can get a boat in it. Time to take the camera and explore looking for little pieces of cover that could hold one when the water comes back up.
