Took the kids to Cross for some catfishing fun. Didn't get there until about 8:30 and took our time getting to the woods. Once there, the cats were cooperating very well. Everyone caught several. However they were getting frustrated with the limbs of the cypress tress. We moved out to the middle of the lake, which is where most folks drift for them. I ended up setting the boat down on a school of large white bass, what a fast furious blast. That lasted about 30 minutes. My Grand daughter was running the trolling motor and wanted to fish the bank line between the docks. Pretty impressive to watch, she'd pull between two docks, put the power poles down and fish the area, then move to the next section  ~c~ ~c~

You know your kids are having fun when you tell them, "We can quit now and hit McDonalds on the way home, or keep fishing for an hour and have a sandwich at home  :-\ " We fished....  ~bb ~bb ~bb

I only let them bring home a doze of the countless they caught. Another fun day with the kids.

Everyone stayed dry until I was coming off plane at the ramp. My grand daughter likes to put her hand in the spray coming off the boat. She's 14 and can reach it pretty easy. This time I turned to her side and her arm when in the water creating a funnel of water right up into her lap ~shade
