Since this was another peacock outing I'm posting this report over here.

Decided to go back to the area where I fished Monday. As well as target a few other spots with similar conditions. My suspicions were right.  :-* :-* The pea's were congregating in specific areas in large numbers!!

I arrived at the ramp at 0 dark thirty, and took my time setting up. Once I saw dawn was approaching, I idled into the darkness and ran to my first spot. First cast, caught a peacock.  lo lo Caught 6 within 5 min. When I saw the shear number of peacock's attacking my lure, I knew today was going to be special.

I threw several lures. Poppers, hair jigs, spooks, prop baits, and jerkbaits. The bigger peas were a little tougher to catch, but the younger pea's were nuts!! You could see them flying to my lures from a mile away.  lo

I moved to Monday's spot, and the peas were there as well, but not as concentrated this time. They also shifted  locations a little, but once I knew where they were congregating it was lights out.  lo

As noon approached, I moved locations again, and checked out two other spots. Pea's were there as well but not as stacked. With the sun overhead I could see the pea's all over. The bigger ones were smart and hugged the bottom. Nonetheless I broke down the water column and just kept catching.

By the time 1:30 rolled around, I was beat. Ended boating 63 pea's and zero bass. Its like the bass have been kidnapped.  lo  All in all, it was fun outing.

Thanks for reading.  ~beer~
