Pea's are on fire out in the Glades right now. This time of year Peacocks are not spawning, so you will not find them paired up. Instead some of these fish will be scattered while others others will be concentrated in high numbers. Due to the seasonal high waters and the after effects of Hurricane Ian this year, water levels are abnormally high. The key to finding solid numbers of peacock right now is to look for running water. That's a pretty daunting sentence, considering there is current all over the Everglades right now.  ~b~ The clue here is to look for specific current coming out of the marshes. You find that or learn where to find that, and your fishing day will be unbelievable.
As long as our temps remain stable peacock fishing will be pretty good. But as soon as the cold temps start moving in, the strategy may change. Time will tell. Good luck out there.  ~beer~
