Howdy all
Hey Bud I have decided to do the same thing as you on the vehicles. I am just going to get my old tundra repainted this winter I think decided after the wreck of the new one I am not really wanting to spend the money again. The ole tundra still runs like its new.
Hey Don just think 3 more months and you would have to worry and deal with the issues of employees. Hope your health is still going in the right direction for you. How is Dwayne doing? He sure made a great come back thats for sure.
Any one hear from Rodney recently? I see he hasnt posted recently. Hope he is doing good.
Took the beemer in then the cooper then the wifes yota they all had their services done which is a good thing just walk a little lighter now after paying out those bills. lol
Have a easy day tomorrow at work have to replace 2 1000 gallon water tanks on a reclamation system hardest part will be removing the old ones and prepping for the new ones then service the complete system.   Next month going to do a truck wash install really dont like doing them but me and one other guy are the only ones that know how to do them lol I get stuck on all the big installs like that since I do the welding. may end up in new mexico in the spring to install two systems there along with the reclaim systems. Maybe I should get smart like Don and retire lol
Ok everyone have a great day tomorrow.
Bud sometime you should post some pics of your boat. I should dig mine out see what it looks like almost forgot what color it is even lol.

Good morning!!! Cool, sunny, typical for time of year, 70 tomorrow. I had my CT scan last Friday, for the most part it showed everything normal, diverticulitis that isn't active at the moment and a renal lesion 1.6 centimeters in size. I was supposed to have a colonoscopy Tuesday, Monday was laxative day with only clear fluids, got that done was sitting with my wife as she ate dinner when the phone went off, the Surgeon who was going to do the colonoscopy called, seems he tested positive for covid, he had no symptoms but he has to have 2 clear tests after 2 weeks to see paientents again so it'll be 2 or 3 maybe 4 weeks before I get the colonoscopy and we talk about testing the renal area for cancer, cleaned out and nowhere to go. I'm not overly worried, the blood tests showed kidney functions all good, psa for prostate was good so the colonoscopy should be clear. That's all I have for now. Have a great day and weekend, be well!!!

Dog, here is a picture of the 1991 Ranger 365V.  The trailer is a custom that replaced the original Ranger Trail trailer.

Good evening to all,
Forecasted temps across Central Texas today were 62-84dgrs with 29% humidity and a S wind @ 17mphs.

Ground hog day at work.  I had to come up with a new plan on how were going to clean this huge place.  I'm still short handed 5 personnel.  I put together a DRAFT plan and it got approved by the Director.  Monday I'll brief the Day and Night shift personnel and the fun will begin.

The weekend ahead isn't all that busy as of right now.  We'll be heading to Crusader Stadium tomorrow for a 1pm kick off.  Sometime this weekend the yard will get mowed and trimmed.  The weeds are growing without any water  >:(

Rodney; My good man glad to see ya on line.  Tks for the health update.  That sux's a WHOLE LOT about the cancelation of the colonoscopy.  That happened to me early on only I found out about the morning it was suppose to occur.

Bud; that sure is a pretty Ranger Boat there  ~shade ;)

Dog; I'm ready like Freddie for the 3rd of Jan 2023 to get here.   I have a meeting Monday morning with the Principal.  I'll be sharing that retirement date with her then.  Yes sir for the most part the health issues are heading in the right direction.  There is a small hiccup occurring with my new bp med's.  We'll get it strait here shortly.   Dwayne is doing good so far working up on the slope.  It's already started snowing according to him. Sounds like you're fixing to be real busy here in the near future.  Y'all be safe in your travels to and from the work locations.

To everyone have a really pleasant and relaxing weekend ahead.  Be safe in your travels if your out on the road ways.

Hey Rodney glad to see you posting and good to hear your doing good.
Bud that is one pretty boat and it is hard to believe it is 31 years old she is a keeper thats for sure.
Donald good to hear about your boy and I am sure they will get the hicups on your bp meds worked out. One I was taking made me cough like I was a smoker.
Yep I been busy too building some weed eradication trailer systems uses hot water to kill the weeds goes in between the grape vine rows and can be used in orchards too. No chemicals, got the tanks changed out and all installed and up and running so now I get to play for a couple of days.
Has anyone heard from SCH? looks like he is more MIA then I am lol

Boat day today.  Gonna pick it up at the storage lot and bring it home.  Get the batteries charged and spend some time rigging rods and just generally having a good time playing around with the boat.  We plan on fishing on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  Weather will be good with a few clouds and no chance of rain until later in the week.  Temps in the 70s all week and lows in the upper 50s.  Sounds good to me.

So bottom line for my Sunday is just relaxing and hanging out.  Monday I have the HVAC folks coming in for routine maintenance of the system.  I still need to get a haircut one day this coming week.  I am looking pretty shaggy.  I have a bit of grey hair and it is just uncontrollable at this stage of the game.  It looks like I am wearing a fright wig with a increasing bald spot.   Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning from a sunny Belton, Texas  8)

Forecasted temps for across Central Texas today are 69-89dgrs with 89%humidity and a SE wind @ 14mphs.  There's lots of sun shining across the area.

Pretty relaxing day yesterday for the most part.  I went in and did our time sheets, came home and took the wife to lunch.  We attended the football game over at Mary Hardin Baylor.  The rest of the day was spent in the recliner watching tv.  We're off to church here shortly we're not for sure where lunch will be done at yet.  Nothing really planned for the afternoon.  Carl is suppose to bring my Cargo Trailer back today.  He borrowed it to pickup a load of mulch for his flower beds.

Dog; Sounds like interesting work driving up and down those vineyards spraying.  We have lots of vineyards here in South Texas especially around Fredericksburg.  SHC, I haven't seen him on line in a while either.  I know he's always busy dealing with his job.

Bud; You enjoy the relaxing day today.  Tight lines on your upcoming trip out on the river.

To everyone I hope ya'll have a really pleasant day today.  Be safe in your travels if you're out and about.

Today started out foggy and then overcast.  The sun finally came out about noon and itwarmed into the mid 70s.  This morning the HVAC tech was here to perform maintenance on my system with no problems found so that is a good thing.

Spent the entire afternoon as planned by playing with the boat and the tackle.  I waxed the boat and everything cleaned up nicely.  Rigged a couple of rods for tomorrow.  Basic stuff tomorrow.  I will start with a chatter bait with a paddle tail trailer, I have a senko rigged on another rod and the third rod is ready to go for a small swimbait.  most likely will be a little dipper or maybe Damiki armour shad.  Not sure just yet.  Looking forward to being on the river.  Incoming tide in the morning with dead high tide about noon before it starts out again.  I won't be in a hurry to get to the river so we will probably sleep in a bit.
Nothing beats fall weather to be working on the boat and playing with tackle.

Afternoon guys. Between work and extra missions at the Unit, I've been tied up for a few months now, so no time to fish. But....I do want to do some Speck fishing once it gets cooler. I got a spot up in Eagle Bay Okeechobee..

Take care and stay safe everyone.

Greetings to everyone,
Forecasted temps for across Central Texas today was rain  ~rain  The rain we got did nothing to improve the lake conditions at all.  All it did was settle the dust down.  The temps for today were 51-75 with 77% humidity with a E wind @ 9mphs.

Ground hog day at work today.  I informed the principal and associate principal my last day there would be 3 Jan 23.  I informed my team also.  The clock is a ticking  ;)

Top; Tks for dropping in.  Tight lines for ya on the upcoming fishing trip.

Bud; Glad to hear the HVAC system checked out ok for ya.  You and the wife have a relaxing day out on the river.

Dark 3; Glad you and the family had a relaxing day over the weekend.  Better enjoy it the movers will be there shortly.

To everyone have a Blessed Day tomorrow.  Be safe in your travels also.

This morning we were socked in with some heavy fog until about 11:30AM when it finally lifted.  Temps rose to the mid 70s with a bright sunny sky.  The winds were very calm and the tides were very lite.  The river was almost mirror smooth which is very unusual.  Unfortunately the fish gave us a skunk today but we had a nice time anyway.  I still can't get over how good the Johnson fast strike is running after two years of chasing gremlins.  The best part of the day was a nice slow boat ride.  We only saw one other boat out there during our 4 hour trip.  Not sure if we are going out tomorrow but I have the boat ready to go just in case the spirit moves us.  More fog is forecasted for the morning hours and a cold front coming in during the afternoon.  Will just have to see what tomorrow really looks like before we decide.

Donald Garner

Good evening to all.
We had a big change in our weather late yesterday evening.  We had a large front of Heavy Thunderstorms, Extremely High Wind and lots of large hail.  We didn't have any damage done to our house or the vehicles.  My G3 is full of water, the floor is covered.  The Stratos's boat cover is shredded into 3 large pieces.  Both windshields are in tact as are the electronics.  Tomorrow after work I guess I'll go out and drain the G3 and pull the damaged cover off the Stratos.
The forecast temps for today were 44-69dgrs with 28%humidity and a N wind @ 7mphs.

Nothing exciting happening around here and I'm glad for that.

Bud; tks for sharing a day on the river with us.  Sometime the gentle slow boat ride is all it takes to make a good day.  Hope your next trip out you're able to put a fish or two in the boat.

To everyone I have ya'll in my daily prayers.  Be safe in your travels if you have to get out.

Greetings to all,

Beautiful day across Central Texas today.  Lots of sun and cooler temps.  The forecasted temps for today were 45-74dgrs with 26% humidity and an E wind @ 7mphs.

Not busy at all at the fun farm.  I had plenty of time to work on some paperwork and computer stuff.  I had a short meeting with the Director of Custodian Services .  I left work early and headed over to Texas Parks and Wildlife office.  The Stratos Registration was up for renewal.  We're good now for the next couple years.  Made a quick trip to DMV and got both boat trailers license plates renewed also.  Next thing up for the boats is to replace all the batteries.  I did this about 4yrs ago.  Time sure flies by when it comes to dealing with this stuff.
There's nothing planned for the rest of the evening.  I'm going to fall in the recliner and watch some TV.

To everyone have a very pleasant and relaxing evening.

Howdy  8)

Forecasted temp across Central Texas today were 52 -75dgrs with 40%humidity and a SE wind @ 12mphs.  We got the chance for another round of Thunder Boomers passing through the area this coming weekend.

It was Ground Hog day at the fun farm.  Not a whole lot going on here at home either.  The wife fixed Chicken nuggets and tater tots for supper.  That was good enough for me  :food   ;PEP)

I hope everyone is doing well at your Home Fronts.  Drop in when ya'll get the chance.

It has been a grey gloomy and cool day today.  Temps made it to the mid 60s with a slight breeze out of the north.  More of the same expected for tomorrow.  Did not do much today, I got my annual flu shot and did the grocery shopping and that was it.  I am planning of going to vote tomorrow to take advantage of the early voting that has been very busy since it started on Monday.  South Carolina is a mostly RED state so not many D category candidates will be winning at least this go around.  Our state has been very successful for the past 15 years and I don't think folks want too many changes.  We have another budget surplus and our taxes are still low.  The surprise could come with the high amount of new residents in the area that have moved here from the great North East.  They tend to bring their blue state ways with them.  I imagine other southern states are seeing the same thing with so many new residents.

Hopefully by mid next week the Ranger will hit the river again as the weather looks fairly good about Wednesday.

Bud Kennedy

Another cloudy and misty day here in Myrtle Beach.  Temp only at 60 and just a slight breeze.  Oh well they all can't be good I guess.

I did manage to get a few tasks done.  We went and did our early voting.  The lines were not too bad and things moved right along at a good pace.  A little later I went and finally got a much needed haircut.  Now I don't look like I have wings on my head.  It don't grow all that much on top but the sides and the back were just out of control.

Nothing planned for the weekend.  Might go see a movie, I have been wanting to see Black Adam.

Donald Garner

Good evening to everyone,

We've had some serious Heavy Thunderstorms with lighting and some pretty strong winds.  The rain hasn't done much of anything for the lake levels around my parts.  Both Belton and Stillhouse Lakes are fed from rivers and creeks out in the West Central Part of the state.  There has to be near flooding conditions for these 2 lakes to fill back up.  The
The forecasted temps for today were 53-56dgrs with 93% humidity and a NE wind @ 13mphs.  There's rain in the forecast for the next few days.

Kinda busy at work today.  I screwed up and forgot to task the team members an area to clean this past week.  So this morning I spot cleaned the area myself prior to school starting.  There are 35 areas to be cleaned > 10 restrooms, 25 classrooms, offices and the common area.  Beings were short handed I stressed to them only to spot clean; Sweep the floor, spot mop if needed, empty the classroom trash can.  I did everything (-) sweep 3 classrooms and put the chairs back under the desks in an hour and 45minutes.   The bell rung and the kids started showing up so I just grabbed the trash bags in those 3 rooms and left.  It really makes me wonder what the night shift is doing in their areas.  I have an idea but can't prove it unless I stop in and check on them around 9pm at night.

Tomorrow I'm heading to the barber shop.  The wife reminded me during supper that I looked like a hippie.  I'll get there at 7am and afterwards I'll stop in at the office and knock out the time sheets.  There's really nothing planned for the weekend.  The weather is supposed to be wet etc.  I need to drain the water out of the G3 and replace both boats with new boat covers.  This latest hail storm we had come through really trashed both covers.

Bud; You have a relaxing weekend a head buddy.
Rodney; hope you're getting to feel better.

To everyone have a pleasant and safe weekend ahead.

Good morning from Belton, Texas  :)

We're starting the morning off with Blue Bird Skies. We have forecasted temps of 51-75dgrs. along with 96% humidity and a W wind of 6mphs.   We got lots of sun forecasted for the week which will dry out both of my boat carpets.

We're off to church here shortly and we're stopping at Subway for our Sunday lunch meal.  I'm going to spend the afternoon tinkering around with the boats.  I'm going to pull the damaged cover off the Stratos and drain the water out of the G3.  One day this week I'll make the trip over to Academy and pickup new covers for both boats.

With all this high winds we've had this week there's a driveway full of acorn's and small limbs all over both driveways.  I'll break out the electric blower and get that mess cleaned up.  The rest of the day will be spent watching TV and relaxing.

To everyone I have ya'll in my daily prayers.  I hope the weekend has been a pleasant one so far for everyone.  Be safe in your travels if you're heading out.

Finally got to see a bit of sun today.  Temps today to 75 and now the clouds are beginning to form just in time for the trick or treaters.  Hopefully there will be no rain for the kids.  I always enjoy seeing them all dressed up in their costumes.  We don't get many as most of the homes in this section are retired people.  We have our own park in this section and a candy set up is available for the kids.  It will keep them from having to go door to door.

Spent a great deal of today upgrading the operating system on the Mac.  I now am running the latest and greatest operating system "Ventura"  Seems to work well with no faults found as yet.  It did take a long time to get downloaded and installed.  ( the better part of 5 hours)  Lots of changes in the applications and in the security for this release.  I should be good to go for a while except for the likly updates to a newly released platform.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with the eye doctor since I have been having some issues lately.  after the appointment I plan on bringing the Ranger home from storage and get her ready for a trip to the river on Wednesday hopefully.

Donald Garner

Good evening to all,

It was mostly overcast across Central Texas today.  Our forecasted temps were 57-73dgrs with 48% humidity and a SE wind @ 7mphs. There's some rain in the forecast for Thursday and Friday.  We'll see what happens.

Somewhat busy at work today at least this morning was.  The afternoon was spent on the computer.  Stopped on the way home and had the oil changed in the Silverado.  I'll more than likely have the oil changed in the Trail Blazer this week also.  I have an appointment on Friday to drop the Ram Diesel off at Goodyear.  The darn check engine light is on again.

Bud; We don't cater to Trick or Treaters here.  I got all the lights turned off and the door bell doesn't work either  ;) There are numerous places in and around town that host Trunk or Treats for the kids.  We just hosted one at School this past Saturday.  The church I go to is hosting one also.  These are a lot safer that roaming the neighborhoods.
Have fun getting the Ranger out of the lock up.  Hope ya'll have great weather for your river trip.

To everyone have a really relaxing evening and be safe if you have to get out.
