Fished the Pick It Forward benefit tournament over the weekend and here is how it went. Practiced Thursday and found a really good top water bite and big worm bite. Caught 2 overs and shook off a quite a few more. Friday I went back to find some plan b options and to expand on the patterns. Stuck one more over in a new area and shook off 5-7 more bites. Come tournament morning we had 2 swirl on our frogs and that was it. The big worm bite never turned on like it did during practice. Ended up catching 2 bass the whole day with only one keeping, both on a frog. Being we only had an under we released it and went to weigh in. Hats off to the sponsors and everyone who helped with this event! It was extremely well run and still a ton of fun to fish with pops! Look forward to it next year!

Same thing here.  We only had one under.  Strangest day i have ever had on Caddo.  Went and got our free rod and food.

Thanks for the report. Seems like they always know when the weekend hits.

My partner and I ran all over the lake, we hadn't seen there in months. Caught one hear and there, having 2 overs and three under. We did pull the coulda woulda shoulda and dumped to very large fish that I'll be looking for soon.
