I have a (small) problem. I received two of the Boom Boom frog rods last summer instead of the two 7'6" Flippin' rods I ordered. I had every intention of going to Sulpher Springs last fall/winter but it's never developed. So what to do? I don't want to cost anyone any shipping, if that makes any sense. These were bought at the $159 price and I don't want to lose any $ either. Anyway, I'm open for suggestions. I'll post this on the Dobyns Facebook page in a day or so, but I figured I'd put it on UB first. These rods are BRAND new, in the original tube. And no, I don't want/need the frog poles. I want the FLIPPIN' poles.

You shouldn't have problem of selling those fast.

It's probably a little late now, but Gary would have righted the shipping error. If they're still new, you could call them, let them research it, and if they can confirm the error, maybe they'll still do something. It's worth trying.

If they are new, Gary will swap for the flippin sticks if they are in stock.  He's done it for me.  If you use the post office, shipping is about $30 per tube as long as the tube is under 8 feet long.  Basically, it would cost you $30 to get the rods you actually want....

The big question is whether what you wanted is still available on their website.  Show them the mistake and they will make it right.  If the rods are not still tagged and can no longer be sold as new,  you always have the option of trading them in on what you want.  With that said,  Once they see the mistake was on there end,  they will go out of their way to make it right.

If you don't want to go that route,  you could unload them quickly on the Dobyns Community Facebook page.  then place another order for what you want.

I have no doubt that Gary would be cool with it. I just didn't want to cost him any shipping, or me for that matter. I still intend to get to Texas but plans got put on hold. The flippin' rods are just about all they have left...
