I'm in the market for a new trailer for a pontoon and this place has some of the lowest cost pontoon trailers I can find.  Bud Fitzgerald is the guys name.  Does anyone have any experience doing business with him??

Don't know him but I know this.

The easiest way to cut cost is to use cheaper axles, bearings, seals, tires and couplers.  Not just on boat trailers but all trailers.  I have 7 trailers total.  From heavy equipment trailers down to boat trailers.

These things aren't noticed by the average buyer mostly because they only pull a boat 20 miles to their local lake.

Your trips are going to be longer and in severe heat conditions, which will cause the cheaper components to fail much quicker.

You usually get what you pay for so be careful on your purchase.

Thanks for the advice.  So far, the pontoon trailers I've found are between $3,500 and $7,500.  The $7,500 is a custom trailer built in Phoenix, which is an hour and a half from the lake.  They need the boat to fit the bunks and I'm not sure the current trailer will make the trip....
