First time back to Holiday Park for me in 2 or 3 years. I had no idea the Peacocks had taken hold to such an extent. Water was 79°. Started at 9:30 and fished to 3. Rarely went more than a few minutes without a fish or a strike except when I targeted bass for a few.
Lots of Oscars and that other aquarium fish (lol) and 30 or so Peacocks starting with my first ever. Used a little Norries jerkbait. Can't wait to get my mother back out there. Any suggestions for a good bait for her? Pretty sure she couldn't jerk very long. Though we could do the Erie stroll maybe.

Peas will hit a 4" senko, and fluke as long as its worked fast.  Just throw it along the pad field edges, jerk and give slack, a walking action.  Texas rigged throw in the openings back in the pads.

Nice peacock Eric!

Eric reminds me of Jimmy Houston. It must be his hair!! I had a head of hair like that back in the day when fishing at Holiday Park but that was before peacocks.
