Fished for a few hours after work with a guy here on UB. We didn't know the first Thursday night event was kicking off so got crowded quick at the ramp lol. We messed around up shallow looking for spawners and while the water temp was nice- 62-65° they weren't locked on and we had a few half hearted bites but didn't land any. Lake has come up 5-6" since I was out there last and has a stain too it at most of the places we fished. We got off the water about 1835 which turned out to be fortunate as we missed the huge storm that rolled in shortly afterwards! Lightning was popping all over and I hope all the anglers weighing in later made it in safely! Really nice day with temps in the high 70s and felt great in shorts and flip-flops!

Image is looking back across the lake as the storm came in.

Thanks for the report Rudy. I now you caught an early wave of spawners but I they off and on weather has pushed them back out a bit. Another day or two and there will be another wave I'm sure.

Don- yeah we've seen some big fluctuations the last 2 weeks here. I'm sure y'all are really close to the 60s and on this full moon might be making babies!! We saw a male and a big female rolling yesterday a few times so they had to be close.
