Fished our clubs tourney and ended up with 5 for 8.3lbs and 11th place. Fished from San Miguel down to tranquility Bay and the 191 Bridge there. Caught 6 keepers with no culls and lost 1 that would have helped. Caught 1 short and 1 catfish as well. Almost everything came on a red MD-6 on hard bottoms along the shoreline usually on a north bankline. Also had 1 on a Ned rig under a dock and missed 1 under a dock flipping.

When we launched it was so cold and foggy I idled to my first spot! Could barely see the boat light in front of me. Stayed around til 9 or so and the pic is from 0730. Water temps were at 54 in san miguel but down at the 191 bridge it got to 61 after the sun had been up a while. Ran almost 25 miles to get those 5 fish lol.

Is Tranquility Bay in the back of Lanan?

Which 191 did you fish, San Miguel or Lanan or both LOL?

Thanks for the report. I've got to fish the H and W in two weekends and have no clue what to do...

I am horrible with creek names! Tranquility is in Lanans creek and I fished the 191 bridge in there. I have never finished the run to 191 I'm san Miguel and with it 3' low I wasn't going to try it.

I went last Friday to help some high school anglers pre-fish for their event on Saturday. Caught a ton of fish mid-lake. Had 15-16lbs catching one or two from each spot we stopped at and shaking the rest off. They were up dirt shallow last week but they seemed to be pushed out in that mid-depth range now. We were using finesse techniques to catch them. They ended up in 9th place out of 90 teams.
