Portable Rod Holder for Shore Fishermen

Materials:

1 - pc. PVC, 2" diameter and 12" long
1 - piece 2x2 12" long and one end cut like the top of picket fence
1 - roll of duct tape

Directions:

lay the piece of lumber halfway up the PVC, with the flat end at the top and the pointy end away, and secure the PVC to the lumber securely with the duct tape by winding it around both pieces for the entire length of the lumber where it touches the PVC.

Simply hammer the contraption into the ground (pointy end goes into the ground  ), you can use a hammer, or in a pinch a rock will do.

Great for dead sticking a bait while you're working another nearby.
