Tough... Upper 40's and clear... I can see the bottom clearly in water as deep as 5 feet in places. For a lake that only gets five feet deep in most places, this creates spooky fish...

Mid lake isn't that bad, it's clear but not as clear...

Folks are catching some nice bass as they prefish for the tournament on the 19th but I am not one of them. I've caught four bass in two days of fishing and all under 2 pounds.

I think most of my problem is the way I fish, it's not conducive of this clear water. Clear water and bright sunshine (not a cloud) along with NO wind, my power fishing is out.... The few I caught were on stink "o's" and a jerkbait.

Fishing should get much better with the warming trends.

thanks, its been a few years since i have had a chance to fish, had to have surgery on my arm and life happened, but i have the boat ready and about to start hitting the lakes again, thanks for the updates on hosston
