Our Adopted Family this year is in a bad spot. Life has really tested them and while they push hard they definitely need our help.

Several months ago Nathan and his wife, Bre, were blessed with the news they were pregnant. However, it didn't take long for complications to develop and Bre was put on bed rest. Unfortunately this also caused Bre's employer to let her go, and the family lost much needed income to keep the household functioning.

Nathan and Bre's pregnancy continued to decline leading to a premature birth. Miss Remington weighed just 2 lb. 13-1/2 oz. when she was born. Remington stays in the premature ward at the hospital creating a huge financial burden for the family in the way of fuel and travel food and hospital expenses. One way is 50 miles. When the budget doesn't stretch far enough as it is, the fuel costs alone are putting Nathan and Bre further and further behind financially.

Christmas for Teagan (12), Emmet (10) , and Nova (5) is looking very bleak. This is a case of hard times falling on a good family and fate has put Ultimate Bass in the way to help out once again. We can do a lot to help Nathan and Bre put a big Christmas dinner on the table, presents under the tree, and possibly make sure everyone gets to visit with Remington on her first Christmas!

For those that might be skeptical about how there is always a plan please watch the video of last years Adopted Family- the Ivie's.

To top off everything, Nathan and Bre's house recently developed a major gas leak and they are having to move last week. According to the pastor, the only house they could find with such short notice is out of budget for the family. Obviously it's a sellers and renters market and this is driving a nail into the families finances. Church and family are helping them with the extra housing burden for now, but how long that can last is unknown.

Nathan is doing all he can to keep the bills paid, working for the local cable company and as an EMT. Bre is recovering and trying to keep the household from falling apart during the move.

I'm not asking you to donate to this family, I want you to purchase raffle tickets to the prizes we are giving away. A $400 custom rod, a Dobyns Champion Series rod, a Dobyns Sierra series rod, and all kinds of tackle.

Visit the thread in the contest board for rules and my PayPal address so you can buy tickets.

I have never asked for anything for myself here, but now I am asking that you give a little extra for Nathan and Bre. I was able to be involved in moving them on Saturday and also give them some gas money.
The church men showed up in force with trucks and trailers to save them time and money. We prayed for them and they barely contained their emotions.
This is a good family that has just fallen on trying times.

I know times are tough, so if you can and have a little extra please think about this young couple.

Meet Holli and Cody, and their three children

Holli and Cody's son Cole was without oxygen for an unknown amount of time during the night. After a long fight and a lot of prayers, life is looking better for Cole, however Cole will not experience life the way normal people do. Please take a minute to read his story by clicking the link above.
