 2 days of trying my replacement for the replacement says it works as advertised. I wish it had been this easy from the get go. I understand everybody has the occasional reject that slips out but it should take this much effort to make it good, but now I'm satisfied, the unit does as advertised which is all I wanted.

I know how you feel.  I went thru replacements with my Active Target.  Waited forever to get one, then it didnt work when I got the dang thing.  The positive side is Lowrance did me right and I now have a unit that works.  Sometimes going over some bumps in the road makes the end game so much better.  Im glad your new unit works and youre happy with it.
