Center console

As some of you know, I recently upgraded the seats in my 2005 Triton. Link to thread ==> Upgraded seats



Another upgrade I've been working on to go along with the new seats is a center console for some additional storage in the boat.

Well, I completed the build last week, all built with 2mm thick aluminum and riveted together and covered with grey carpet. The box is very water resistant as I sealed all the internals with silicone and added a lip to the top where the lid overlaps, probably isn't 100% water proof, but in light rain I've sure it will stay dry inside.

Thanks Lou, and yes it is very handy. Tested it out over the weekend. I can store two pairs of my NINES glasses in their hard cases, phone, wallet and there's still plenty of space inside. And with the hinge on the front edge of the box it stays closed when running at top speed  without any locks, latches etc.
