getting to appreciate more and more the pencil popper style baits.  this is a good one.  been hunting a good bluegill pattern for a while and of course, nothing available here in the US.  So I ordered on line from Japan.
very surprised at it showing up in my mailbox today.  just about a week after ordering.

Ooooo, that lure looks good.

Here is a picture of one in action at Vero Trophy Bass Lakes.  This one is beat up and chewed up but it for sure got the job done.  Was a go to bait for me and that was the bait where Doc caught his new personal best.  Doc was actually doing a popper style presentation with long pauses and I used it as a walking bait.  Either way it did not disappoint.

It walks very nicely and mine had wicked sticky hooks that did not disappoint.  Was not even a problem casting in the wind we had on day 1 of our trip.

Then again the Chatterbait didn't do bad either.  I guess those Vero Bass or just a tad aggressive.  LOL  (I want to go again)

Hmm...... I'm not sure why but I've never given the pencil popper much attention. I know I have some but couldn't even tell you where they are.

I'm a big fan of the 105 size.. I think when it's slick calm it draws a bit better than the 125.

Got in a couple SB105 and a 125 it rained all day so I went fishing anyway  the 125 did better for me but both are fish catchers. Even small bass preferred the 125. There was wind and rain all day. I would think if it was calm the smaller size would have done better.
