Square Pond Boat Launch or East Great Lake

HI I am looking for some help.  I am from RI and I want to come to Maine for a couple of days to smallmouth bass fish. Not sure if anyone can give me some info on the boat ramps and smallmouth fishing on Square Pond or East Great lake?  I have a 20 ft bass boat.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Square Pond has decent ramp, but,... your boat has to go through the culvert to get to main lake.Water is pretty clean.There are small & large mouth bass in there. Can be tough lake to fish at times. There are some large trout in that lake ,... state record brown was there also.

Great East is super clear at the ramp, you can see down to the bottom. Very rocky heading out to deeper water. I never fished the Maine side ,maybe I should in 2024.
