coldfront

on the heels of a cold front and staring out into the teeth of a darn cold morning, I decided to head out and see what I could get done.
32°F at sunrise.  light SSW wind at 3-5.  some 'spotty ripples' on the water, but a lot of 'glass' too.  TVA was generating 'a little more' this morning at a little over 20K cfs.  Water clarity was very slightly stained and water temps were holding well at 61.3°F.
found a few fish on hard bottom with texas rigged soft plastics but had to fish slow and then slow down.  bigger fish came on the plastics.  believe it or not, smaller fish came on the jig/chunk.
very cold hands (burning).  balaclava was a huge help as was the sun when it came over the mountains.  didn't seem to help the fishing, just my mood.
