We took some customers on a guided striper fishing trip on Lake Texoma this Wednesday.  Pulled up to first spot and captain looked at his graph but didn't see anything, went about half a mile and dropped anchor.  Caught a couple and missed a couple.  We pulled up and moved boat about 200 yards and dropped again.  Caught our boat limit in the next hour and half.  Was back at dock and all fish cleaned in about 2 hours!

I love that striper fishing maybe even more than bass fishing.  I wish we had them up here.  If you can find them busting shad at night and catch a limit of 16 to 20lbers it's hard to beat.
Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?

Yep!  It was a good time.  The gear was pretty heavy duty.  Abu 6000's and heavy Ugly Sticks, but still a good fight when they decided to take a run!
