I am going to replace the crappy standard folding seats in my Triton with some nice bucket seats from Bassboatseats.com. These are the ones I'm looking at.

The ones I have currently are really pants and actually quite low.

Who here has replaced their seats from this store and what do you think of them?
I am only getting the driver and passenger seat, as I don't use a back deck seat or front pedestal seat.

Steve, I've replaced every seat in my Stratos with seats from BassBoatSeats.com and I'm very happy with the quality, fit, and finish. They vinyl material is heavy, the stitching is tight and true, and they are super comfortable.

Thanks Jim, just what I was hoping to hear. Which model seats did you get?

I know I've got better pictures, but can't find one right this minute. These are the 4 piece 22.5" seats. I might have preferred the bigger buckets, but Linda won these in one of BassBoatSeats' Give-Away drawings. So they didn't cost a penny. I followed up with two of their LeanPro casting seats and their center console.

They look good Jim, and even more so that you won them  ~c~
They are a great match color-wise and that center step box also looks good. I have always thought they looked a bit tacky on the website.

I'm going with the big buckets seats for two reason;

1. Due to the location of my gas tank, I can't mount separate seat base and back, I can only screw down (and that is only possible due to the modification/addition I am currently constructing, stay tuned for that).
2. Bigger is better   ~bb ~bb lo

I had to improvise a little myself. My tanks are "L" shaped and take up all of the space under and behind the seats. There is enough of a gap that I attached treated wood panels to the back and bottom of the seat pan. That made for a solid mounting base and protected the tanks.

My tank is also an L shape tank under and behind the seat base. I'm building an aluminum frame for mine. I didn't want to go down the wood route. It's not easy to get treated wood here.

You can also use synthetic/plastic wood like StarBoard. I thought about that after I had everything put together.

Yeah good idea, I never thought about that. Anyway, I already have the aluminum and have started building  ;D
