2009 Champion 214sx

Searching for a decent fish and ski boat and came across the 2009 champion 214 so for sale.  Not exactly what I think I want but there isn't a big selection right now.  Anyone have any scoop on this boat?  They are asking 20K.

I don't remember the exact year they quit making Champions but this has got to be close to one of the last. (could be way off).

The Champion hull is very durable and handles ruff water well. In fact it's known as one of the best ruff water boats every made. I would not be afraid of the boat at all. Check it over and make sure there are no impact spider marks and the transom is solid.

I'd recommend getting a mechanic to look over the motor very well, a mechanics inspection is well worth the hourly rate when you are looking for piece of mind buying a used rig.

Used boat prices are pretty high right now 20 grand seems high to me. However new boats are so expensive it's hard to find someone willing to let go of their old rigs.
