With the brutal summer heat and humidity we are currently experiencing, I planned my two days fishing weekend as below to escape some of the heat.

Saturday - Fish late afternoon into the evening
Sunday - Fish from first light and quit when it got too unbearable

Since there is no fish/catch action to talk about except for one missed bite on Saturday, I'll just mention the conditions to try and stop anyone else from torturing themselves.
On any other weekend, there at least 100 boats on this lake, this weekend there was 5 or 6! I haven't seen or heard of any catches from any other anglers.

Weather - Bright sunshine and blue skies with zero wind
Air temps - 88° in the AM to 99° highs
Water temps were 81° ~ 88°   :surrender:
Water levels are starting to drop again with all the farmer flooding their rice paddy fields
Upper lake water - a lot of green algae bloom
Lower lake water - clear and still relatively free from the algae
2020 IBASS Gold - Zone 2 - AOY
2020 IBASS Classic - Winner
2020 IBASS Team Tourney - Winner (with FD)

I remember the brutal heat... I'd most definitely say that South Korea has the largest temperature swings I've ever experienced from bitter cold in the winter with wind chills that will kill skin, to summer heat with indexes well over 110.

Thanks for the update on the lake... Maybe this is the one you win the rod on ~c~
