Well last week I put my Tracker boat to bed for the winter and now I have to wait till spring to go bass fishing again.  :( The sad part is I only did 46 tournaments this summer and wished it had not had end so soon. Guess I need to get a life other then bass fishing! NOT
You got to believe in something and my wife told me to go bass fishing so I do!

46 tourneys?!?!?! Dang! I barely get in 10-15.

I can't stand the cold lol so I'll stay down south somewhere that I can fish year round. Heck it was 82° here today!

I have to agree with Rudy! If I fished 46 tournaments during the year, I'd be ready for a break. You must follow some awesome trails!

I couldn't live where I couldn't fish for something year round... I'd learn to ice fish I reckon...

46 is a lot but I can see it happening...

During the summer we have at least one tournament everyday of the week except Tuesdays. It does put a lot of pressure on the bass in the smaller lakes.

My season starts on Memorial day weekend and runs for the next twenty-three weekends straight, every Saturday and Sunday morning. I'm the tournament director for my bass club and since our season is basically over by November I have to get in what fishing I can in when its possible. Plus my wife tells me to get out of the house and go fishing so I hate not to do what I'm told so I go fishing.  ~gf

As for ice fishing Mike I do that too, but cutting a hole long and big enough to cast in to is hard work so I go over to pan fishing in the winter.  lo

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.

I've been living my last 8 years and counting in states where we get hard water for a number of months. It's awfully depressing to be making payments on a boat that you can't use for long periods of time.
