I got out today by myself for a hardcore day of fishing. Must have caught 50+ 12" range bass and this nice one on a Norman's square bill. Didn't weigh it, but it was 5lb+

I also caught this little guy, in Korean it is called a Gokji.

Steve were these bass brought in and stocked or are they native fish.  What are the native lake fish of Korea?  Interesting markings on that second fish.

Definitely not native  lo  they were stocked here in the 60's in 3 reservoirs for food along with bluegill, but can now be found in just about every waterway.

The main Korean native fish are carp, but eels, catfish and snakesheads are also native here.
Apart from snakehead there are a few other predator fish.....

1. Gokji (pictured below is quite a big one)
2. Sogari
3. Kuri

I'll try and post some photos of the sogari and kuri
