Best way to Camden, Al.?

What is the best way to Camden, Al.? I get off work around 3pm Friday and plan on leaving the house no later than 5pm. If anybody else is planning on leaving Friday evening let me know and I'll follow you up there, or vice versa. I know Roy said he was leaving around 1pm, and Greg said he was leaving around 3pm.

That was a good post because I will be able to leave when ever, taking Friday off. I don't know where I'm going either so I will need to follow somebody. Spence hasn't figured out when he is leaving and would like to know about everybody to so I follow.

I'm not sure how to get there either but I won't be able to leave till Friday afternoon around 3:30. This is a good place to mention that I really need a firm head-count on who's going up Friday and the pairings for the hotel room. I have 8 rooms reserved in my name for Friday & Saturday night. I need to let them know by Wednesday if I'm going to cancel any rooms or I'll loose my money. I'm not poor but I really don't want to be giving money away.

Not sure of the road name...but take the first exit at Greenville, off I65, and head West. That road will take you straight into Camden

We can all meet up Friday afternoon at 3:30 to 4:30ish at Winn-Dixie and train from there; if that sounds good to everyone. I can even leave later if someone cant make that time frame.

Bob, I am definitely going. I'm not sure that James is going to be able to make it, he said something about having to work this weekend. I'd be more than happy to split a room with 2 other people, I'm bringing a sleeping bag, and I'll sleep on the floor or an air matress if need be. I'm going to be heading up there Friday evening. I'll leave my house no later than 5pm.

Cedric, are you sure you want to camp. A room split 3 ways will only be about $35 total. Camping may be more than that.

Think it over...if you don't get any rest Friday you can come to the hotel and camp out in one of the rooms

it is only going to cost me $8 a night to camp and I dpn't have to pay the $2 launch fee each morning. And by the way i have a cot that sleeps like a dream. oh and I am taking my small grill. If we want to cook out one night i make some mean fajita's

Does anyone know how to contacgt Mike Lango. Need to verify if he and his son are going. Starting to look like I have too many rooms reserved and don't want to get stuck with the bill. I need to firm this up by the end of the day.

Thanks for sending the info Greg and Bob that is correct my son and I are going and will be meeting with you guys in the winn dixie parking lot to head up there with everybody. Thanks for taking care of the rooms and I would like one of them for the boy and I. Will see you Friday

Wish I could go on this one with you guys. I love that place. Good luck to everybody. There are some great fish in that lake. Should be a good time for all. Have fun!
