Launched from Claytor Lake State Park 05:30, surface temps were mid 70's making it to 76-77 by noon. Water was the usual light stain with 4'+ visibility and for the most part a beautiful day. The wind picked up and times but never lasted long.

It was a spinner bait day with a lot of fish, but no size. Mostly Spots with a couple Largemouts. My two big fish were two spots both about 2lbs each and the lure of the day was a NuTech Lures 1oz Smoke Shad Spinjig. The Spots were coming out of 5-6' depths on docks and ledges. The Largemouths were clinging to submerged timber in warmer water.
