Anyone fishing Burke lake?

How are the fish this year?  Last year was a bit slow for me.

Fished at the lake on 16 July 2019. Extremely hot day (94+) I got in lake at 0810 by time I parked and got to boat launch area. Within 10 minutes and about 20 casts I got my first fish on a 5" Senko work (watermelon w/ black flake). Approximately 2 lb bass in shallows. I moved down bank and caught 3 more bass before 1100 near the breast. After that I went in a cold spell as the temps got high. I put a heavier worm on with a split shot and 7" worm. Got out to the deeps and picked up a few bites. Finally caught a 3-4 lb bass. That was the end of the day for me. Too hot and couldn't get consistent bites.

Anyway I think you can catch fish here on senko but weather seemed to play a big part in lack of big day. Started out strong but just couldn't capitalize on it all day
