Well i kind of put the cart before the horse here.

I ordered some swimbaits without a rod to throw them. I got 2 168 S-Wavers an 8" magdraft and a Hudd 68.

I was wondering if this is a good rod to throw all of these? I was going to order it this weekend.

Thanx for any help.

The 795SB is the best rod for those baits. It is not too much rod for the S-wavers and the others are right in its wheel house.
Enjoy it and please post pics of the fish you catch with it.
3rd place 2017 UB IBASS 377.75"
AOY 2018 IBASS Cool Casters  369.00"
AOY 2019 IBASS Cool Casters  362.50"

I don't throw a lot of swimbaits but I communicate with a lot of anglers that do and they love this rod for a wide range of swimbaits. I'm certain you'll enjoy it. Like Zippy said, share some pics :-*

Great swimbait rod and will work perfectly for the baits you've mentioned. The lure rating max out around 4oz, if you get addicted and want to go heavier than that I would go with the 806

Yea I was looking at them both. But at their price If I get addicted I can afford to get the 806 later. I'm not really sure I could even throw a bigger bait.  ;D
