TCTC July tourney date

Folks, guess I looked at the calendar wrong when I was checking the dates. Right now its scheduled for the first Sunday which is the 7th but that will put it with the holiday on the 4th.

We need to move this to the 14th. Let me know your thoughts and we can vote on it after the tournament this Sunday. That should give everyone time to reschedule (if needed) if this is what ya'll want to do.

I will be out of town this weekend but I vote we move it to the 14th.  I will be one of the individuals out of town for the 4th of July weekend.  I will do whatever the majority wants, but my vote is to make it the 14.

I vote to move it to the 14th, or even move it forward to the last Sunday in June.  Either way is good for me.

Club members voted for the July tournament to be held on Jun 30. This puts it 4 weeks after the Jun tourney and 5 weeks before the Aug tourney.

Any chance we can revisit the possibility of signing up/paying for the 30 Jun tournament the day before?  With the 90 minute drive to Converse and trailering to another launch allowed and moving the weigh-in to 2 PM, I'd rather pay the day before and go with the honor system for empty livewells and first cast.  I hate losing early fishing time to driving time.

Just a question.  I won't be butt-hurt if it gets shot down.

At this late juncture it'd be a bad idea from many viewpoints. Several factors involved but the main on is our rules do not allow for this. We'll let you go early enough to reduce the "downtime ".

This can be brought back up at this year's rules meeting though.

What do I need to do to fish with a substitute this weekend?  My normal partner (Bill Troha) will not be available.

Ok, my understanding is that tournament was moved to the last Sunday on this month (30th) instead of the July 4th weekend.... so is this a change now?  Is this a change since the last tournament?

Correct. Tournament is this Sunday due to the Holiday.

Also, does the sub/guest have to pay the $20 member fee. The way the rules read I dont think so but just want to check.
