Holey Land 4/13/19

Went with Roberto this morning and there was only one other boat out there. While running to our starting point noticed there was no current following from the pump stations. There is almost always water following to some degree from these spots. We both started with top water with no results. Went to plastics and started catching but most were small.
We went deep but the bigger bass were not playing.. We fished the entire east canal and worked every pump station hard. We finished with 25 boated and a few misses. We had a few in the 2 pound range with most smaller. It was a relaxing day with the wind taking us right down the canal.
I'm sure Roberto will have more to add.

Good job guys!!!! That wind was nice to day long cast and didn't have to mess with trolling motor much,thanks for sharing!!

I would wait a while until some water is flowing and the bass stage around it. 27 is a better option right now. Thanks for the reply friend. Are u still in that house on the corner of 26 th street?
