Lake Osborne 4/6/19

I'll make this one short and sweet.

Thank you Ranger for the invite and showing me around Osborne. Never fished it from a boat so that was cool to see the lake from a different angle and lots of areas I had never fished.

We were looking for both bass and peacock on this trip. We had a slow start but eventually I put one in the boat with a uvibe. Setting it drop next to some pads.
Then a second fish this time just letting it sit in some eel grass.
Ranger found himself a peacock using a jerk bait I think. I threw a bunch of baits to try and catch a pea but nothing seemed to work. Went back to the uvibe and picked up my last fish. After that we couldn't find any willing to eat. We saw some bass swim by but they were in a hurry and so were some peas that flew past us.

I had a couple bass actually swim away from my stick bait as if it was the plague.

It was a slow day but we still had fun out there.

Thanks for the report Rick and glad you and Ranger got out and caught some fish and had fun today. I went out for about two hours this morning and never even got a sniff. Looks like I'm picking up right where I finished last year.  Oh well it felt good to be out after our long cold windy winter.

In the 1st & 2nd lake yes, not so much once you get to the 3rd & 4th lake. I live on the 3rd lake there, where it meets the 4th one.
