Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Pros and cons of each and comparison. Thanks.

I can't comment on the ALX IKOS, but I own 4 Tatula rods, 3 new and one old (and I had one more old one that I upgraded for a new model for the new handle).

The new Tatulas still run on the heavy side, but they seem to be a are a little bit less tip heavy than the older ones -- although the fast rods are certainly not moderate rods. It feels like the old rods labeled as R (regular) are what they are calling fast now, which is okay. The new cork handle is great for moving baits and heavy presentations where you might need to wench a fish out of some cover, but I do prefer the old split grip handle for vertical presentations, as I tend to balance the rod on my hand so the smallest bite could tip the rod when trying to detect a bite. Just personal preference.

Anyway of all of the rods I have experience with in the general price range (Dobyns Sierra and St. Croix Mojo bass -- which I like as well), I think the Tatulas are probably overall the best.
