Actually way past time. I used to get a "booster shot" every 3 months, but it had been 10 months this time.

I've been pretty good, but I started to feel it back in October and asked for Shots at my November Drs Meeting. But my Regular Guy was out on Vacation and the Sub didn't feel comfortable ordering them. Then the same thing happened in December.

Then in January my Guy was back but didn't want to do anything that might affect my Cancer Screening Test the next week, so he didn't order them either. Finally at my February Meeting I got them ordered.

The Main Dr that owns the Practice and does the Shots told me to mot let that happen again. If I need them and my Regular Guy is not there to ask for Him and he will ok the order.

Waiting so long was not a good thing. I was doing some heavy yard work in January and I felt something twitch in my low back. But that night I could not raise my legs to wash them in the shower without fear of falling. Taking any step there was a chance of severe pain and falling. It was bad. I was still feeling "something running down my right leg all the way to the top of my toes.

But I toughed it out and yesterday I got the shots for my hips done. I had to grab the table to fight off the pain it was so bad from waiting so long and being so tight and swelled. I came home and rested for several hours. Slept pretty good last night too.

Still feel where the needles when in, but I can feel the effects taking over. I was having issues peeing in the morning, but I thought that was still a side effect of the Cancer Treatment, but this morning I went fine with no problem. That tells me that my whole lower abdomen area must of been swelled with inflammation and it is starting to go down already.

Next week I will get the Shots done in my low spine. Yesterday's were done in my Hip Joints, one on each side. Next week will be L and R at the L3-L4, L4-L5, L5-S1 for a total of 6.

Just in time for Bike Week.

Figured I'd do an Update.

Tuesday I had the Lumbar Shots done and as expected they hurt like heck. If you a guy that gets these done find out what Time Period works for you to keep the Inflammation at bay and stick with it.

I'm still feeling the effects of the actual needles. My low back is sore, but then I did have a needle shoved into my spine discs at 6 locations. So some pain relief yet also some pain from the procedure.

I got one more set ordered and that should do it for another 3-4 months. They do help me quite a lot after the Needle Pain goes away.

Thanks for the update Fred and glad the shots help you with the pain and will keep you on my prayer list. I haven't had to go through shots in the spine but I have seen my daughter go through them .

After the 2nd set of shots in my Lumbar on Monday the difference is amazing. Once the actual pain from the needles left my low back feels better than it has in quite some time.

Monday will be the last of the shots with this set in my hips.
