Potomac River Cold and Windy

The River was cold and windy today.  Had a friend send me a picture and with the North wind blowing the water was way blown out at low tide today.  Looks like its going to be a super cold night with the wind chills.  Have not liked the rain but, its been better than the super cold temps.

I think we needed that cold snap in a bad way.  I think a lot of the lack of grass on the main river last year was because the winter was so mild and never truly killed off the previous years grass growth.  We need that grass gone down to the bottom in deeper areas so sun can truly penetrate and hopefully kick the grass back to life come the spring.
