Here's one that should get people talking. What's your favorite out of production (OOP) lure that you still fish with regularly? Do you have a lure that's no longer made that you no longer have any left of that you wish you still did?

For me, it would have to be the old Risto Raps and Pre-Rapala Wiggle Warts.

The silent are still available but they quit making the rattling.
I still have some and If I see a deal on them like on Ebay I try and pick them up.

Also the Berkley Havoc Pit Boss is still made but several of the colors I liked are no longer available.
Lime Purple Passion (still have about 10 bags of these)
Sapphire Blue (one new bag and a partial left)

There's quite a few on my liat for both questions.

The original Bagley Balsa B's - I still have some but I rarely if ever fish them anymore. If I was still tourney fishing and big money was on the line I might break them out but that's not likely to happen for me anymore.

Among the long list of OOP lures I wish I still had but don't would be the old wooden Nip-I-Diddee. Like a lot of other baits the newer plastic ones just aren't the same.

I still have a small stash of Risto Raps. When they were discontinued my local Sports Authority store had a bin of them for $1 each. I bought every last one they had. My son has a bunch of them too along with some other cranks I want but he won't part with them.

Sometimes teaching our kids well backfires.

I'll go with the pre Rap warts although I have more than I really need. Also the original Bagley DB2 and DB3.   There's also a wooden SK crankbait that's long out of production.

Mr. Twister Thunder Worms and Poes cranks come to mind. The Poes are now Stanford Lures the price is up and they don't have some I like. Back in the mid to late 90s I had a run that let me stop in at a Dicks at lunch time and peruse the aisles, I did one Friday and they had a fairly large display of Poes at almost half price, it just so happened I had a stash at home so that evening I went back and cleared the racks of 2/3s of them. A clerk came over to see what I was doing, he looked in the bottom of the cart, saw the layers of baits, looked at me and asked "Do they really work?" I told him no , I'm just making sure no one else gets screwed buying them and went and dropped my money. Don't have many left. :'(

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.

The Twister Thunder Grub. If you needed a small profile with a big vibration, this was the ticket. Other companies tried to make them but t'weren't the same.

The Strike King Spence Scout was a crankbait that I used to love. Probably was the first crankbait I ever used. I don't think it's made anymore as I certainly haven't seen them in years. It definitely doesn't look like the fancy crankbaits of today. It had a metal body and a metal square bill. It also had a small silicone skirt on the rear treble.

Bought some 3.8s from Singapore last month ....cool new size but spent a fortune. Jealously managing my supply of 4.8s while scouring ebay hoping that TW and others will start stocking them again.

I can't remember things these days without looking at what I have!  :(

The only one I can think of, is a soft plastic fluke that Sizmic made, which is now Uncle Josh & they stopped making them awhile back. My favorite fluke!

I have a good supply for now, and fortunately there is a replacement that looks identical made under the Bass Kandy Delight name. It's a very popular fluke with Striper anglers!  :)
