No personal experience with it. It's one of the models on my list to look into. Seems like a good value. I have a dealer about 30 minutes from me. If I get a chance to test ride, I will post back and let you know.

I got the itch earlier this year and tested out a few different models at Pak and Paddle. I went ahead and purchased the RS117 back in March. It was the most comfortable model that I tried out. Easy to maneuver, and I'm a beginner. I figured it wouldn't hurt to learn how to paddle, and plus I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money just starting out. I figured I would save my more expensive purchase in a kayak for later on down the road just in case I change my mind about fishing out of a kayak in the first place.

Haven't gotten to take it out as much as I want to (do to work schedule.) The boat is very stable. Easy to stand up in. I'm a big guy and it handles me and my gear just fine. I carry a crate, my tackle, and a lunch box style cooler with a rod holder out front, no issues. I thought I wanted to put a bunch of stuff on it, but I have found to keep it simple. It is very easy to add on whatever rod holders, or camera mounts, fish finder, etc if that is your sort of thing. If you're looking for a stable kayak that won't break the bank, is easy to load by yourself, and tracks fairly decent, look no further. You won't get a pedal drive, or a fast boat, but you will get one that floats just fine and is very comfortable go fish out of. Good luck to ya!
