Yep. Next week on Truman. Gonna try to help him pre-fish a derby. So now, everyone will find out what a dink I really am. Or are.

I was hopin' it would be Wizard to expose me, but that'll probably be this fall when the weather cools some. Of course after jfly's report I may lose my invite to go with the Wiz.

My BS may have just been called. Shucks.

You've already been exposed. The LOZ guys I talked to said you were no joke. They just hadn't seen you on the lake in years. And every angler has some bs to them.Now, if jfly catches giants and you catch dinks, I'll rewrite my post.
The confluence of the Grand and the Osage might be a good place. A ledge to a deep flat to a drop. Every depth a bass could wish for.

Like the time that Greg and I were fishing the Ultimate Bass derby on Caddo when you showed up, early in the afternoon, and delivered us cheeseburgers and fries. Or, the time that you and I launched out the day after Easter, on Black Bayou Hosston I believe, only to discover that the tornado the day before twisted every cypress trees in a half mile wide path across the lake. We did still manage to spank them pretty well on spittin' images even with the post front blue bird skies.

Well, we got it done. And fishin' was TOUGH. And Jeremy's a helluva nice guy (he listens to Southern Rock, it don't get no better).

He didn't kick me out of his boat, so all was good I reckon.

I had a great time Dale. Can't wait to do it again. Yesterday wasn't any better in the derby. I caught 14 1/2 to 14 7/8 fish all afternoon but couldn't find any keepers. Just saw the results and only 3 of 18 guys weighed in. Tough tough fishing for sure.
