While I was putting all of my stuff back into my boat, I was reminded of that my pair of Compound Diagonal Cutters is a valuable part of the tools that are in the console.  If any of you have ever been impaled by a sturdy hook, you might know that those rascals are hard to cut if you need to do something like that.  The compound cutters can get the job done and should be considered as part of your safety/first aid equipment.

Bud so far I've been lucky and haven't had a hook stuck in my hand yet.

Great tip  ~c~ while I'm always trying to stay prepared with tools that I might need to repair and get back on the road or fishing, I rarely think about fixing me  :surrender: And last year a pair of cutters would have kept me on the water.
